Buckhead Condominium
Ground Penetrating Radar Systems was requested on site at a condominium renovation in Atlanta, GA to determine the location of reinforcing steel. Large areas of the floor were scanned using GPR to locate rebar, post-tension cables, and embedded conduits within the concrete slab prior to core drilling and saw cutting to add new plumbing and electrical fixtures.
GPR is a great tool for locating embedded items within concrete. It can also be used for unmarked grave mapping, locating septic systems, and for locating underground utility lines and underground storage tanks.
