Private Utility Locating For Lowes

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems was recently asked to assist in a project at a Lowes store in the Atlanta, GA area. GPRS was asked to determine the location of underground utility lines in the parking lot prior to excavations to replace water lines. GPR is a great tool for use in occupied spaces because it does not emit harmful radiation, produces virtually no noise, and will not disturb business operations.

GPR is frequently used to scan the ground to determine location of underground utilities and underground storage tanks, as well as for unmarked grave mapping and locating septic systems. It can also be used to determine the presence of obstructions in concrete prior to saw cutting or drilling.
